The Temple serves the needs of the Sri Lankan Buddhist Community and is also open to anyone interested in the study of Lord Buddha’s Teachings and Meditation, including Meditation techniques.
Athula dassana International Buddhist Vihara
The main building houses the shrine room with a beautiful Buddha statue, monks quarters. Disability access is from the back of the building.
Dhamma School for children
The Temple conducts a Dhamma School for children between the ages of 4 and 15 on Sundays.
Sinhala Language classes
The premises are also used on Sunday afternoons by Perth Sinhala School to conduct the Sinhala Language classes.

At Atula Dassana International Buddhist Temple, our community is at the heart of everything we do.
The temple is a place of learning and spiritual development, housing a serene Buddha statue and a tranquil temple room.
The facilities are designed for accessibility, with disabled access at the rear of the building and public restrooms on the ground floor. The temple can comfortably accommodate up to 500 guests during major events, and the upper-floor verandah provides a peaceful space for quiet meditation
Our temple aims to provide a supportive environment for those who wish to follow the Buddhist way of life as practised in Sri Lanka. A variety of programs are held regularly, transforming our temple into a vibrant cultural centre for the Sri Lankan Sinhala community.

Another community service by the Heathrow Athula Dassana Relief Foundation
Following a request made by the Principal, Faculty and Students of Murungahitikanda Vidyalaya, the Heathrow Athula Dassana International Buddhist Temple has planned to modernize the building, which is currently in ruins, and convert the teachers’ quarters into classrooms.
